The social enterprise division of The Freedom Institute was created out of a need to provide our participants and those who have been incarcerated with Apprenticeship Training Programs and Employment Opportunities.

The Freedom Institute has partnered with local businesses to hire and train our participants in specific trades. We help them develop skills-for-life stability by creating community through teamwork, while cultivating work ethic and responsibility.

Western Slope Work and Gain Education & Employment Skills program (WSW) is a thriving community-based program that helps citizens successfully return to the community from the Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC).
